Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua citizenship by investment program is one of the recently launched economic programme for dual citizenship. It is an affordable choice for individuals applying for second passport.

An applicant need not require to be physically present at Antigua to complete the application process and can obtain his/her passport being in their home country. Once your citizenship application gets approved the applicant should visit Antigua and spend a minimum of five days anytime within a period of 5 Years from the application approval.

To sponsor University of West Indies fourth campus the Government introduced the UWI Fund as an option under citizenship vy investment program.
The applications which apply under this program are required to make an investment of US$150,000 for a family of six or more which means in a single application there should be a minimum of 6 persons or more to apply.

The cabinet reviews the business proposals recommended by the team of Citizenship by Investment program ,the proposal can be existing or new, the purpose is to empower the investment scheme.

Typically there are two business investment options which are:
  • A principal applicant on his own behalf makes an investment in an approved business of at least US$1500000

  • A minimum of 2 persons to make a joint investment in an approved business totaling at least US$ 5000000. Each person is required to contribute at least US$400000 to the joint investment. An application for Citizenship by Investment may be submitted on his her or their behalf through an agent.
